The White Blazer is winning Lots of Love!

The White Blazer is on of this seasons MUST haves ♥!  This versatile item can be worn with almost anything (just don’t do a Lady Gaga, and team with tights and a bodysuit! – It may look good on her but it’s definitely not for the streets!) and gives your outfit instant sophistication!!!

Although the blazer was usually saved for those cooler days in the summer or spring months, it’s making its massive comeback this winter (and I’m sure it can be carried through next season) and comes in a variety of styles (I ♥ the sharp shoulder look). Invest in a mid-lengther, as it will be more adaptable to your wardrobe, or if you’re feeling brave, aim for a cropped sleeve version and layer it up (with colours) to keep your arms from the cold.

What to wear it with!

Because white is such a clean slate, you can glam it up in so many ways imaginable.  Mary-Kate teams it up easily with black tights (leather tights look good also!), and black pumps or gladiator like wedges – if you can’t take the height, choose the flats and contrast your top half with a brightly coloured floral top (if you want to avoid looking a little matchy).

Avoid looking too glammy (because you have the rock star like style) and rough it up a little with ripped jeans, biker boots and an oversized top with a loosely wrapped scarf (printed) in a darker shade.

Vintage inspired? Or is Chloe Sevigny your fave fashion icons? Wear your new addition with denim shorts (a blue or dark hue), a plain or printed t-shirt, black stockings, flats, and accessorise with coloured bangles or a long chain necklace.

Heading Out?
Wear this piece with a matching skirt and black stockings like Sienna Miller, or, wear with an LBD (or coloured if you like – your dress will stand out more!). Dresses not you thing? Blake Lively wears it well with black shorts, tights, and sky-high like pumps (or wear closed in gladiator like heels for a grungier feel) – and don’t forget to accessorise!

If you’re thinking like you will be spending most of your time worrying about what kind of stains you may find on it during the day (and we all know white is not the friendliest with even the slightest mark), opt for an off white or cream, and if you don’t think you can hold yourself clean for more than a few seconds, go for the classic black look and let your worries go astray.
